The big game of the weekend in the NCL Premier Division sees bottom side Wellingborough Town host Burton Latimer at Redwell Road.
As things stand, Burton are two places and 38 points ahead of Wellingborough and a win for Damon Hanney’s side on Saturday couls see them secure their top flight status.
A win for Boro, on the other hand, would tighten eveything up going into the final two rounds of fixtures.
Should that transpire, and Horton House, who are 30 points above the bottom, go down to Rushton then the plot would thicken dramatically.
At the top of the table, both Finedon Dolben and Peterborough face tricky contests as they bid to get their hands on the silverware.
The leaders travel to Northampton Saints while Peterborough host third place Old Northamptonians.
Elsewhere, fourth place Wollaston are on the road at Oundle and Stony Stratford welcome Brixworth.
In Division One, Rushden can take a big step towards gaining promotion when they travel to bottom side Kettering.
The Short Stocks outfit are 48 points clear of nearest challengers Geddington who visit Irthlingborough.
