Saturday, January 5

Rushden Amateur Theatrical Society’s (RATS) New Year Show from January 5th to 12th will be ‘Beauty and the Beast’ – performed at the Pemberton Centre. Evening performances are at 7.15pm with Matinees on 5th / 6th January at 3.30pm and 12th January at 2.15pm. Tickets are available from Jan’s Floral Boutique or ring 07748620805 and cost Adult £9.00 – Concessions £7.00 – Family Tickets £28.00. This will be RATS 51st Pantomime having given their first in 1963.

Geddington Friends of the Church are hosting their annual Twelfth Night festivities on Saturday, January 5. This year’s theme is ‘weather’. Entertainment and refreshments are provided. Tickets cost £12.50. Please call 01536 745350 to book.

The Trinity Centre, Rothwell will be holding a New Year’s dinner party at 6.45pm on Saturday, January 5.

Sunday, January 6

Brigstock URC will hold the first service of the new year which will be a carol sing-a-long at 10.30am on Sunday, January 6.

Thursday, January 10

Stantion parish council will be meeting at 7.30pm on Thursday, January 10, where locals are invited to speak to parish councillors about matters of concern.
