BLOW off the cobwebs and lose some of that weight you gained over Christmas with a bracing walk around some of north Northamptonshire’s most beautiful countryside.
The Waendel Walkers Club is inviting new faces to join up for a walk on Sunday, January 15.
There is a choice of a six or 12-mile circular routes starting and finishing at the Shoulder of Mutton pub, Chapel Road, Weldon.
The walk will begin at 10am and people taking part are invited to walk at their own pace or with a group.
Detailed route descriptions will be supplied as a guide at the start of the route, which takes place mainly on footpaths and bridleways.
No booking or membership fee is required but walkers are asked to pay 50p on the day to cover to cover the cost of their guide.
The club holds regular walks around the county throughout the year and has been running for 30 years.
