A group of teenagers are holding a family fun day tomorrow (Saturday, September 6) to raise money for a brain injury charity.
The 13 youngsters, who are currently enrolled on a National Citizen Service scheme, are hosting the event at the Plaza in Thrapston on behalf of Headway.
Running between 11am and 4pm, there will be a range of different activities for visitors including face painting, a raffle, live music, book stalls, game stalls for children and refreshments.
It costs £2 per adult, £1 per child with under-sixes getting in for free.
The group wants to raise as much money as possible in order to renovate Headway’s therapy room and create an art mural.
NCS is a Government-backed programme promoting opportunities for young people to develop their leadership skills, become more engaged with their communities and take on a social action project that makes a difference to their local area.
