A loving home is being sought for a young Jack Russell terrier.
One-year-old Busta was brought into Animals In Need in Little Irchester from the pound.
A spokesman for the charity said: “Busta is typical of his breed – he can be very stubborn and wilful so an experienced owner with no children is a must for him.
“He gets on okay with other dogs but he definitely should not be around smaller furry animals.”
Busta is one of more than 40 dogs currently featured on the charity’s website which are in need of new homes.
The charity also has a range of other animals in its care which are waiting to be rehomed, including cats, chinchillas, degus, ferrets, guinea pigs and rabbits.
At the weekend it also rescued 200 hens which were due to be slaughtered and is now looking for new homes for them too.
