Dog owners and their four-legged companions are invited to attend a community dog roadshow organised by Wood Green animal charity in Higham Ferrers.
PC Andy Hoyle, dog legislation officer for Northamptonshire Police, will also be there with staff from the animal charity and East Northamptonshire Council at the roadshow on Tuesday.
The animal charity is hosting the event in the pavilion at the recreation ground in Vine Hill Drive, Higham Ferrers, between 3.30pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday, March 26.
People are invited to take their dogs for a free weight check and to get advice about neutering and general pet welfare.
They will also have the chance to buy flea and worming treatments and discounted microchipping for their pet.
PC Hoyle will be on hand to answer any questions about dog-related legislation, such as dog bites and the law around dangerous dogs.
