A woman was pushed by a man who then broke her keys in a road rage incident in Rothwell yesterday (Monday).

The incident happened between 3.40pm and 4pm, when the 26-year-old victim was driving along the Kettering Road and a grey Land Rover Discovery drove in front of her and blocked her.

The driver of the Land Rover then got out and put his head through the open window of her car and verbally abused her.

Words were exchanged and the man went on to push the victim on the right cheek and reach in to snatch the keys out of the ignition, breaking the key in two.

The offender then threw one half of the key into the road.

He is described as white with a shaven head, in his mid-forties, 5ft 5in to 5ft 7in with a medium build and a fair complexion.

He was wearing a dark-blue polo shirt with a work logo on the left and dark-blue shorts.

He spoke with a South African accent.
