A woman involved in a collision with a lorry on Monday this week is appealing for people to get in contact who may have seen the crash.

The incident happened at about 6.30am near the Harvester pub.

The woman, Jessica Issitt, from Kettering, was on the A43/A6003 roundabout aiming to head towards the A14 when a lorry from Poland swapped lanes and struck the side of the grey Ford Focus she was travelling in.

Jessica said: “The police arrived and the lorry driver admitted liability at the scene, but we would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident as nothing in writing was taken at the time.”

Jessica said she and her partner were not badly injured but both have suffered whiplash and Jessica has also suffered internal bruising.

Anyone who saw the incident is asked to phone 07795 221455 or email jessicaissitt@hotmail.co.uk.
