Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen a white Citroen Berlingo van being driven between Corby and Northampton late last night, Wednesday.
The van was stolen from a property in Corby overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday and is believed to have been used by offenders who committed commercial burglaries in Stoke Albany and Ravensthorpe last night.
Police were called following the incident in Ravensthorpe and pursued the van until it came to a stop in Eastern Avenue North, Northampton, at which point three people were seen to make off.
An extensive search of the area took place and with the assistance of a police dog, a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle. He remains in custody.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a white Berlingo van in the Corby, Stoke Albany or Ravensthorpe areas from 10pm onwards last night.
They would also like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the van come to a stop in Eastern Avenue North.
