A Wellingborough windows firm represented the town in a five-a-side football competition in Birmingham.
T&K, based in Huxley Close and the Park Farm Industrial Estate, and its parent company Emplas Group took to the field at Birmingham City’s St Andrew’s stadium to raise money for the Hope House Children’s Hospice, which supports a number of children’s hospices.
They squared off against 20 other teams, all from other window and conservatory firms.
Ryan Johnson, managing director of the T&K and Emplas Group, said: “It was a fantastic event which was not only a great team building exercise for the lads but also for a great cause.
“We are very proud to support all of the GM fundraising events for Hope House Hospice.
“The work that the team do at the hospice is incredible.
“We look forward to performing better in next year’s tournament!”
Ryan added that the event was likely to raise £130,000 for Hope House Children’s Hospice Charity.
