Saturday is likely to be the last hot day of the current heatwave, according to Pitsford Hall Weather Station.
By and large it will be another fine day with good spells of sunshine and with temperatures rising to about 26C.
However, there is a danger that the heat during the afternoon could spark off one or two showers.
It will turn cloudier towards evening with the showers merging into longer spells of light rain.
A very humid and uncomfortable night will follow with lows falling to about 17C.
It will be a cooler day on Sunday, cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain.
Highs of 22C in a light north-westerly breeze, falling overnight to a more comfortable 14C.
