Wear a funky scarf and help families living in poverty

Charity Link in Northamptonshire, which supports local people in poverty, hardship or crisis, is calling on people to support its first Wear a Funky Scarf Day.

They are asking people to wear a bright scarf on Friday, January 30, to help raise awareness and money for the thousands of people living in poverty in Northamptonshire, including 21,000 children.

Charity Link in Northamptonshire helps by providing essential items, including fridges, cookers, beds and clothing to those in desperate need.

Director of marketing and fundraising Susan McEniff said: “By wearing your scarf and donating for the pleasure you will be showing support for individuals and families in the county who are in desperate need.”
