It is just over a week until Red Nose Day and we want to hear your stories about how you are planning to support the appeal.

It doesn’t matter how madcap your fundraising is, or how small, let us know what you will be doing on Friday, March 15.

An accountant will be including a short comedy routine in his seminar at a major business exhibition to raise money for Red Nose Day.

Philip Walding, of Moore Stephens in Corby, will be delivering a seminar on Working Capital at the Northants Chamber exhibition at the Silverstone Wing that day, but has decided to include a few of his favourite jokes in honour of the occasion.

Philip said: “Accountants aren’t known for entertainment value, but I have a few favourites up my sleeve that I hope will give everyone a laugh in aid of Comic Relief.”

Visitors to the Moore Stephens exhibition stand, or to the seminar, will be able to enjoy a Red Nose cupcake in return for a donation to the appeal.

Tell us your Red Nose Day stories by calling 01536 506153 or email nt.newsdesk@northantsnews.co.uk.
