Forecasters are predicting snow for tomorrow (Tuesday, January 20) and Wednesday.

The latest weather report from Pitsford Weather Station says snow is due on Tuesday evening, with heavier snowfalls on Wednesday morning.

The forecast says: “The cold weather is set to continue tomorrow. It will be another frosty start, but again we should enjoy some crisp winter sunshine through the morning. The skies will turn a little cloudier through the afternoon as a weather front moves in from the west. This is likely to trigger snow on its arrival across the county during the evening.

“Highs tomorrow again will climb no higher than 2C, falling overnight to 0C. Winds will be gentle, backing south-westerly. We are likely to see the snow continuing on and off for quite a while on Wednesday, falling heaviest through the morning and early afternoon. It will again be cold with highs of just 2C with winds light and variable. The snow should die back to flurries during the evening and overnight with lows falling to 0C.”
