Pupils from the Kilburn School of Dance in Wellingborough are appealing for people to vote for them to perform at the Royal Albert Hall.

Last year a group of pupils from the dance school, in Rock Street, got through to perform their dance ‘Avatar’ at the London venue.

This year’s performance is called ‘Alice’ and is based on Alice in Wonderland. It is being performed by a group of pupils aged between 10-years-old and 12-years-old.

The dance has been choreographed by Kerry Buckby.

If the Wellingborough group win they will get the chance to perform in the second Dance Proms on Sunday, November 4, at the Royal Albert Hall

Amanda Wilkins from the Kilburn School of Dance said: “The group need your votes to put them through to the final performers. At this moment we are in third place and need every vote possible. An extra surge of voters could really push us forward and give these children a great experience.”

To vote visit www.danceproms.co.uk and follow the instructions.

Voting closes this Sunday, June 24.
