There will be fun for all the family at the annual Cottingham and Middleton village fete on Saturday, July 5, from midday until 5pm.
It is being held at Cottingham Primary School and playing field in Berryfield Road in the village.
There will be a beer tent, tearoom, barbecue, bouncy castle, miniature train rides and the pets cuddle corner from West Lodge Farm Park, Desborough.
Other attractions will include games and stalls, including the Made in the Village stall selling locally crafted gifts and toys.
The organisers are hoping to top the record £3,687 raised by last year’s fete for the school and the village church, St Mary Magdalene.
This year, the school will use the money raised to buy musical instruments, starting with guitars, so that more children have the opportunity to learn to play an instrument and the church will use the funds to repair the church path.
There will be no admission charge to the fete and more information is available by calling Angela Preston-Jones on 0759 468 2671 or emailing email@example.com.
