The Northampton Classic Club staged a debut classic scramble in Woodford on Sunday, July 6.
Organisers said the inaugural event, on a permanent track maintained by the Corby Moto Cross Club, was a success.
Riders from all parts of the country took part in a total of 17 races.
Club chairman and event organiser Pete Griffith hopes the club can make this event an annual fixture, and possibly run two events per year.
The event’s co-organiser Colin Hill, owner of Kettering motorcycle dealership Ape Accessories, lent three classic scrambles bikes – a 1958 Tribsa, a 1965 Matchless Metisse and a 1974 Bultaco – to county riders Colin Wilson, Carl Walker and Neil Harris.
Harris, 20, who works for race suspension specialist Avo UK in Northampton, scored a win on the Bultaco.
