Lovers of beautiful gardens are invited to look round one in a village setting and help charities at the same time.
The garden at The Maltings, 10 The Green, Clipston, is open on Saturday (July 20) from 2pm to 6pm and on Sunday (July 21) from 11am to 6pm as part of the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) that raises money for charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Help the Hospices and Crossroads Care.
Admission to the garden is £3, children free, and all the money goes to the NGS.
The garden has about 40 different species roses and about 70 clematis as well as many unusual shrubs and perennials. There is also a wild garden, and a water and bog garden.
Cream teas with home-made scones and home-made cakes will be available and there will be a cake stall. The proceeds from the teas and cake stall go to Clipston Stepping Stones Pre-school and All Saints Church, Clipston.
