Visitors to Rockingham Castle will be transported back to the time of the Vikings this weekend.
Living history group the Vikings of Middle England have taken over the castle grounds today (Sunday, August 25) and tomorrow for a series of living history displays and battle re-enactments.
Hundreds of visitors were enjoying the warm sun at the event this afternoon.
As well as enjoying the displays, visitors can also try their hand at archery, coin making, Viking calligraphy and get an up-close view of how injuries were treated in the Viking age.
