Wicksteed Park is hosting a wartime extravaganza this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9).
Dozens of military vehicles, groups of re-enactors and other attractions are on offer at the park.
One of the highlights of today’s event was a flypast performed by a Spitfire.
Tomorrow, at 2pm, organisers say a Lancaster bomber will be performing a flypast at 2pm.
Among the attractions today was a tank demonstration and a mini-battle fought out between groups of re-enactors representing Allied and German forces from the Second World War (see our video, which also includes the Spitfire, above).
