Police are hunting two youngsters, believed to be teenagers, who shot a woman in a Kettering park with an air rifle on Wednesday (June 12).
The woman and her partner were walking through the Highfield Road park between 3.40pm and 3.50pm when they were shot at twice.
One of the shots hit the woman on her arm, although she was not seriously injured.
The two offenders ran off and were joined by a third boy in a black hooded top. All three disappeared over a fence.
Officers carried out a search of the area and found the air rifle nearby.
The first offender is described as a white boy, approximately 16 years old, around 5ft 8in tall, of slim build and wearing a grey hooded top.
The second offender is described as a white boy, approximately 16 years old, around 5ft 2in tall, of slim build and wearing a black hooded top.
