A Kettering man inspired by the Northampton Clown has made a huge Halloween decoration for the front of his house.
Kettering man Dave Hand, from Kingsley Avenue, has decked out the front of his house with this 8ft clown face, inspired by both the recent Northampton Clown phenomenon and the Pennywise character, played by Tim Curry in the television adaptation of Stephen King’s IT.
Mr Hand said he made the huge face for his ten-year-old grandson, who loves horror stories.
He added: “It took me about two hours to make it.
“A friend of mine worked for a company which made sports bags and he gave me the material.
“The wife said it might cause an accident!”
Telegraph photographer spotted Mr Hand’s effort while passing by, and made the short video, above.
