Kettering carnival brought some colour and noise to the town centre on Saturday.
Floats travelled from their starting point on the Grange estate down Stamford Road, Bowling Green Road and past the museum, art gallery and library before briefly halting in the town centre.
Then they were off again, ending up at the Rockingham Road Pleasure Park where there was a variety of entertainment on offer.
Taking part in the parade were floats from Debbie’s School of Dance, Jolley’s Pet Store and the Kettering-Lahnstein Twinning Association.
There were also carnival courts from a number of towns including Kettering, Corby, Irchester and Wellingborough.
