This year’s Crazy Hats Walk was a glorious 12th in more ways than one!
Thousands of people turned out to take part in and support Sunday’s walk at Wicksteed Park.
In a break with recent tradition, the sun actually shone as more than 2,100 people donned crazy headgear and set out around the Kettering park to raise funds for the Wellingborough-based breast cancer charity.
Charity founder Glennis Hooper said: “What makes our walk so special is seeing the span of the ages of people taking part, seeing families together, seeing the messages on walker’s backs as to who they are walking for, seeing smiley faces and listening to comments from walkers as they proudly file past.”
See this week’s Telegraph for more pictures and stories from the walk.
