The Corby Cycling Festival took place at the Corby Cube today (Saturday, June 22).
The event started at 10am outside the Cube with a host of activities, including ‘a wall of death’ display on the Bomberdrome by the Ministry of Bikes from Northampton.
At 4pm in The Lab in The Cube, there will be a pedal-powered showing of the film Janapar, which tells the story of Tom Allen, from Middleton, who cycled round the world.
He will also be signing copies of his book.
Cllr Paul Beattie said: “We ran this event last year and it was very popular, so we have put it on again. It’s all about encouraging people to get on their bikes.”
