Community groups are invited to take part in a video competition which is offering £10,000 in prizes.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Opus Energy, the Northampton-based energy supplier, is launching the video competition to help power the projects of charities, community groups and not-for-profit organisations in the county.
Groups are being asked to submit a short video identifying their aims and what project they would use the Opus Energy gift money for.
There will be four awards of £300, three of £600, two of £2,000 and one prize of £3,000.
Successful video submissions will be made available for public voting at www.opusenergygift.com and will be judged by a panel of Opus Energy executives and local representatives.
In coming to a decision about which groups will receive one of the 10 gifts, the judges will consider the impact that each shortlisted project will have on Northamptonshire.
The competition deadline is August 27 and public voting will close on September 10.
Details of the video submission process are available at www.opusenergygift.com.
