A teenage golfing sensation from Burton Latimer will be thrown into the spotlight next week when she becomes the youngest ever person to tee off in the Solheim Cup.
Charley Hull has been picked as a member of the European team, and aged just 17 she has become the youngest person to be selected in the cup’s history.
Charley said she is delighted to be part of the squad and described the selection as a great honour.

The youngster was picked for the match against America at Colorado Golf Club by team captain Liselotte Neumann, who described Charley’s play as ‘fearless’.
The tournament runs from Friday, August 16, to Sunday, August 18.
