Braybrooke Morris Dancers have been dancing out again.
This time it was at the Desborough’s Christmas Gala on Friday, November 28, and coincided with the Christmas Tree Gala.
From 6pm to 8pm Station Road and High Street were closed to allow inhabitants and visitors safe access to a variety of stalls.
The town’s Christmas lights were switched on by Widow Twankey, supported by Aladdin’s Genie and the Ice Queen – all characters in the panto at the Lighthouse Theatre, Kettering.
A spokesman for the group said: “Braybrooke performed with their usual enthusiasm and attracted a lot of interest – quite a few passers-by sad ‘I can do that’ but no-one signed up to give Morris dancing a try so the recruitment plan goes on!”
Braybrooke will dance again on Friday, December 5, at the Market Harborough Christmas fair.
