UKIP leader Nigel Farage will visit Kettering and Wellingborough today (Saturday) at the launch of the Grassroots Out campaign to leave the EU.
Mr Farage, along with north Northamptonshire MPs Peter Bone, Tom Pursglove and Philip Hollobone, will first visit Wellingborough’s Market Square at 11am for a walkabout through the town to meet members of the public and discuss their thoughts behind the campaign.
They will then be part of a panel at one of the largest cross-party EU meetings at the Kettering Conference Centre in Thurston Drive from 2pm-4pm, with up to 2,000 people expected to attend.
The meeting is also being attended by Kate Hoey, Labour MP for Vauxhall, and Sammy Wilson, DUP MP for East Antrim.
It will be chaired by UKIP MEP Margot Parker.
There are still limited tickets for the event in Kettering, which are free with a £1.50 service charge.
Doors open at 12.30pm and tickets can be secured by clicking https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/grassrootsout.
