Firefighters had to cut two people out of vehicles involved in a crash in Geddington.

Police and fire were called to Stamford Road in Geddington just before 8.30am today (Friday) after a two-vehicle crash.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: “The fire brigade had to cut the roofs off both vehicles to free the occupants to be taken to hospital.”

The extent of the injuries is not known.

Police closed the road at the Eurohub roundabout to allow recovery of the vehicles and the road was re-opened at 9.20am.
