Two men and a woman were the victims of early-hours assaults in Kettering town centre at the weekend.

Police have appealed for witnesses following the attacks, which are not linked, and left the men needing medical treatment for their injuries.

The first assault happened in Market Street in the early hours of Saturday (November 1) in Market Street,

Between 1am and 2am, a group of people assaulted a man and woman, both aged 18, in Market Street.

The victims sustained bruising and broken teeth and the offenders are believed to have left the scene via Horsemarket.

Then, in the early hours on Sunday, between 2.30am and 2.45am a 19-year-old man was with a friend in Carrington Street when a man ran up behind him and punched him in the face.

The victim suffered facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
