Two men die in accident on A43 heading towards Corby

Two men have died and a woman and 18-month-old boy sustained critical injuries in an accident last night.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the fatal accident which took place yesterday (Tuesday) at about 8.20pm.

A silver Mazda 5, travelling along the A43 from Duddington towards Corby, was in collision with a white DAF truck.

A police spokesman said: “Two men, passengers in the Mazda, aged 21 and 28, were pronounced dead at the scene, and a woman and 18-month-old boy, also passengers of the Mazda, sustained critical injuries.

“The driver sustained non life-threatening injuries.

“The driver of the truck was unharmed.”
