Two men attempt to drag girl, 18, towards car in Kettering

An 18-year-old woman managed to run away after two men tried to pull her towards a car in Kettering in the early hours of Saturday morning (December 12).

The incident happened in Regent Street, close to the junction of Crown Street, between 5.30am and 6am.

The woman was walking alone in the direction of Rockingham Road when the two men approached her from behind, grabbing her arm and attempting to pull her towards a car, a light-blue five-door vehicle similar to a new-style Ford Fiesta.

She managed to break free and run away without injury.

The offenders were both white.

One was about 35-years-old, 6ft tall with a slim build and dark-brown eyebrows, dressed all in black.

He wore a woolly hat, a jacket, trousers and gloves and had an Eastern European accent.

The other was around 5ft 8in tall with a heavy build and dark stubble.

He wore a black hoody with white stripes along the arms, black and white trainers and a back woolly hat.
