Two laptops were stolen from a house in Corby during a break-in last weekend.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary, which took place at a property in Primrose Close between 7.30pm on Saturday, July 12 and 11.45am on Sunday, July 13.

Thieves broke into the property through a patio door at the back of the house and stole the two laptops.

Police believe it may be linked to a burglary at a nearby property, which happened at about 1.30am on Sunday, and they would like to speak to a man in connection with both incidents. He is described as probably white, about 5ft 9in, with dark hair. Heappeared intoxicated or unsteady on his feet.

Witnesses, or anyone with any information, are asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
