TV chef and author of 24 cookery books, Sophie Grigson, will be appearing at the Northamptonshire Food Show at Holdenby House, this month.
The event is taking place on Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16, from 10am until 5pm on both days.
The show will celebrate the best of food and drink from the county and region, from condiments, artisan cheeses, home cured and fresh meat, dairy products, confectionary, bakery, wine, beer and other drinks.
In its seventh year, the event attracts thousands of visits.
A spokesman for the organisers, Oakleigh Fairs, said: “We re delighted to announce that Sophie Grigson is booked to offer cookery demonstrations throughout the weekend.
“Sophie is a keen champion of domestic cookery, practical and keen on eating well. She has dedicated her career to cooking simple, easy dishes, using new and exciting ingredients. Having published 24 cookery books, Sophie is synonymous with great food and has a natural ability to teach cookery in an informal and fun way.”
The show with also feature Andy Kelly, head chef at Sophia’s restaurant, Wendi Jarrett, a champion of healthy eating and MasterChef Ondine Hartgroves, all of whom will be on hand to demonstrate their culinary skills.
There will be tours of the kitchen garden with Matt Hughes, head gardener at Holdenby, as well as cookery demonstrations by Sarah Favell, the housekeeper.
The show will include wine and beer-tasting sessions and displays of birds of prey by Icarus Falconry and visitors will be able to enjoy a range of stalls selling food, arts and crafts and gifts.
Admission is £7.50, £6.50 for concessions and £3 for children aged five to 16.
Family tickets, for two adults and two children, are £18.
The admission charge includes access to the house and gardens.
