Corby soldier Private Scott Wilson will be among those being honoured when the Royal Anglian Regiment marches through the town.
The 20-year-old former Lodge Park Academy student attended the Army Foundation College at Harrogate.
He said: “I recently spent five months on tour in Afghanistan. While I was there it meant a lot to know that people back home were supporting us. I’ll be really proud to march through Corby. It will mean a lot to me and to the rest of the regiment.”
About 200 soldiers will march from West Glebe Park to James Ashworth VC Square at 11.40am on Monday, July 21.
