Staff and pupils at St Thomas More Primary School, Kettering, are celebrating after receiving a good grade in all areas of the inspection.
Maureen Everington, who was acting headteacher at the time of the inspection but is now retired, said: “The school is very pleased with the Ofsted report.
“The report confirms that St Thomas More is a good school that serves its pupils well.”
The report says pupils achieve above-average results in reading, writing and mathematics.
A few issues to be worked on were highlighted but current headteacher Anne O’Neil says these problems are already being addressed. The inspection took place on July 9 and 10.
