Masked gang armed with crowbar force way into Corby house before punching victim and stealing cash

Three men wearing balaclavas forced their way into a home in Butterwick Walk, Corby, and demanded money.

The men broke into the house and made demands for cash sometime between 8pm and 10pm on Friday (February 26).

One of the residents was punched in the face and various items were stolen, including cash, a mobile phone and computer equipment.

The men were all wearing balaclavas and a white car was reportedly seen near the back of the house around the time of the offence.

One of the men appeared to have a crowbar.

Witnesses to the incident, anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area on Friday evening or anyone with any information is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
