Man slashed in face in Corby altercation

A man sustained a slash to his face during an argument which took place in Corby in the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday).

The 28-year-old was involved in an altercation with a man at about 2am, during which he sustained the injury.

The incident took place at the junction of Beanfield Avenue and Hastings Walk.

The offender was white, slim and about 6ft with dark hair.

Officers investigating the incident would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it or has any information about it.

A police spokesman said: “A 27-year-old man has been arrested and released on bail in connection with this incident.

“Witnesses or anyone with information about this incident can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
