Man robbed after being pushed into ditch in Burton Latimer gang attack

A man was pushed into a ditch before being kicked and robbed by a group of five men in Burton Latimer.

The 33-year-old victim was walking towards High Street, after crossing the junction with Hillcrest Avenue, when he was approached by a group of five men.

One of the men punched him in the face and proceeded to pull him across to the other side of the road.

At this point the victim was pushed to the ground and into a ditch and kicked a number of times.

The offenders then made off with items including his wallet.

One of the offenders was white, aged 27 to 30, about 5ft 8in and slim. He wore earrings in both ears.

He was carrying a small bag over his shoulder and had short, dark hair, facial hair, and was wearing black trousers and a black T-shirt.

The second offender was white, aged 27 to 30, about 5ft 8in and of medium build.

He was wearing black trousers and a black hooded top, was clean-shaven and had dark coloured hair.

The other three offenders were all white men.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
