Is this Corby woman the closest to sharing the Queen's birthday?

Cathy Proctor, pictured, turns 90 on Monday, April 25 - just four days after Her Majesty celebrates her big occasion.

Mrs Proctor moved to Corby from Scotland in her early years and has worked at the Corby steelworks, Golden Wonder, delivered milk and post and picked potatoes in the area.

Her son-in-law Neil Melling said: “She could easily pass for 60 or 65.

“She’s always lamented the fact that the Queen is born four days earlier.

“I’m glad their birthday is close because it helps me to remember!”
