And to help boost the fundraising Elizabeth, who will be seven by the time the fun day takes place, will be having about 11 inches of her hair chopped off!

Her mum Katie said: “Elizabeth did some fundraising on her holiday last year in Skegness and arranged a cake sale for local charity Macy’s Memory.

“She asked to do something again and decided to organise (with a little help) a fun day.

“She is also doing a sponsored haircut with all proceeds going to Macy’s Memory and the Little Princess Trust.

“She will be donating roughly 11 inches of hair to the Little Princess Trust as well, which they use to make wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment.

“She is such a kind, generous-spirited girl who we are really proud of.”

Among the attractions at the fun day will be face painting, glitter tattoos, games, raffles, a cake sale, a tombola and a live DJ, as well as special appearances from Anna and Elsa, Paw Patrol and Doc McStuffins.

There will also be lots of stalls manned by local traders.
