A youngster who suffers from a condition causing him to have hundreds of seizures a day has received tickets to an England cricket game courtesy of star player Graeme Swann.
Lewis Herbert, 10, will go to the England v New Zealand one-day international at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, in June.
Lewis’s dad Gary, who plays for Finedon Cricket Club, paid tribute to Swann – originally from Northampton – and his county side, Nottinghamshire.
Gary said: “They are providing us with an opportunity to do something with Lewis which we have always wanted to do, but never thought practical or possible.
“Things like this make a massive difference to Lewis’s and our lives.”
