A three-vehicle collision caused delays on the A14 during the morning rush hour.
The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway just before 9am this morning (Thursday, August 1), near the service station between junctions four and five.
Police, firefighters and ambulance teams were called to the incident at 8.50am but a spokesman for Northamptonshire Police confirmed there were no injuries to those involved in the collision.
Motorists described seeing the damaged cars including one which had sustained damage to the front and side and which had deployed its airbags.
The road was quickly reopened once the cars were removed.
