A fight in Kettering town centre left three people injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place at about 4am on Sunday, August 12, in Church Walk, Kettering.

Two groups of males were involved in a fight, which left three of them with injuries.

A 17-year-old from Corby was taken to Kettering General Hospital with serious injuries and is currently in a stable condition.

A 17-year-old and a 19-year old from Corby were also taken to hospital with minor injuries and later released.

A police spokesman said: “It is believed that the two groups had been at a couple of bars, Cocoon and Bar Sun, earlier in the night and had had minor confrontations, escalating to the fight in the Horsemarket near to the new bus stops.”
