Mr Jacobsen said: “I brought one of the swords back from Africa in 2002 and one is a futuristic sword so it’s got quite a sharp blade on it.”

The stolen bike is a Diamond Back Overdrive with a lime green frame and it now has a white saddle.

Mr Jacobsen added: “It’s not just a bike, it’s got sentimental value.

“I did a charity ride on it two years ago for a girl in Africa and I was looking to do another one next year.”
