A teenager was left with a broken cheek bone and eye socket after being attacked by two strangers in a Corby street.

The 19-year-old was walking in Studfall Avenue between the junctions of Farndale Avenue and Occupation Road some time between 3.30am and 4am on Sunday, October 19.

As he walked past two men in dark clothes who were speaking in a foreign language, he was punched in the side of the head.

The teenage fell to the ground and the two men left the scene.

Northamptonshire Police, who have only just released this information, are appealing for witnesses to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
