Teenager assaulted and has phone stolen in Corby attack

Two men attacked a teenager before taking his phone in a wooded area close to Beeston Road in Corby on Wednesday afternoon (October 1).

The 19-year-old victim was walking through the area sometime between 4.30 and 4.50pm when he was approached by two men who assaulted him before stealing his blue iPhone5, between 4.30pm and 4.50pm.

Both offenders are described as being of Portuguese or Turkish origin, with the first being about 6ft and of stocky build. He had long, dark hair and wore a green jumper and black tracksuit bottoms

The second offender was about 5ft 10in, of slim build and wore a black baseball cap and black shell suit.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it. They would also like to speak to anyone who may have been offered a blue iPhone 5 for sale.
