Broadcasting legend John Motson went down a storm when he gave a talk in Rushden this week.
About 80 people went along for An Evening With John Motson at the Masonic Hall in the town on Wednesday night.
Motty told the audience all about his life and career spanning four decades during the event organised by Serve.
Zoe Brown from Serve said: “It was such a brilliant night, he is such a lovely man.”
The event raised £1,455 for the Rushden-based charity, which supports older people in the area.
