Six colleagues cycled and hiked 73 miles around the Scottish Highlands in 24 hours to raise money for a cancer charity.
The six, from Kwik Fit’s National Distribution Centre in Corby, took part in Maggie’s Monster Challenge, raising £4,297 for Maggie’s Centres.
The challenge is an annual event within Kwik Fit but this is the first year the Corby team has taken part.
Lisa Spence, buying team manager and co-leader of the challenge team, said: “Maggie’s Monster Challenge has always been taken on by our Scottish colleagues, but this year we wanted to get involved.
“It wasn’t easy but we all spurred each other on – we pushed ourselves to the limit, both mentally and physically.
“The whole team has been affected by cancer one way or another so to raise over £4,000 for Maggie’s Centres felt fantastic.”
